As always Tom, great series, I'm curious how you were able to capture the last shot the way you did.

Thanks, was able to get this shot by using a slow shutter speed (1/30 sec). the car is traveling at top speed down the main straight and starting to come into a fast corner. So part of car is sharp and the rest is blurred due to a combination of slow shutter speed, movement of the car (vibration, braking) and slight change of direction. This is the same effect in shot #6.

No. 6 is my favorite of the lot and no. 2 is also a favorite of mine. Well, I like them all as you well know how much I look forward to your posts.

this is simply a great series. everything is sharp/contrasty and captured with excellent timing. particularly, i love #4 for the perspective and #6 for the sense of motion.
