Default REC Basketball Monday night

These were taken Monday night in High School gym with average lighting using Canon 50D, ISO 3200, 70-200mm, all at f/2.8.

I was not happy with the noise level so these have already been adjusted with Noiseware.

One of these were at SS 1/320 the others all were at 1/400. Next game I plan to go back to the 85mm f/1.8 to reduce the noise.

Lighting (including WB) and sharpness are very good to my eyes. Sounds like the 70-200mm f/2.8 did its job! Post processing noise control also appers to have been effective. And you have captured some good action shots- I like them all with special mention of #3.

Thanks jelpee. I am looking forward to getting some with the 1.8 just to compare. Finally, after two days of postponed games due to weather the kids get to play again tonight.
