I like your enthusiasm to get out and shoot, that's a good thing, and also you like to try your hand at different subjects.

It's hard to tell at this size but looks like you have a couple that are varying degrees of being OOF, 1, 3 and 5 (1 and 5 by quite a long way).

I think the best shots are 2, 3 and 4.... 3 would be a real winner if it was fully sharp.

The last one you are need to get the exposure up for the face as you are shooting slightly back lit.

With tennis you don't have to to shoot full body, but you can get in on the action by framing tighter.... this will also reduce the dof so the backgrounds are less distracting.

Before I shoot any sport for the first time, or if I've not shot it for a while I always check out Getty Images to see what the pros are producing for said sport.

On the first 2 pages of tennis photos when I did a search, out of 120 photos, only 10 have the full competitor, the rest are tighter frames. There is a problem with this, the chance of getting OOF is higher and you are more likely to miss the ball/racket etc. However as I get the impression you are really trying to leave (which I commend you for) it is worth doing.

Dive through Getty and I'm sure you will get some inspiration and ideas to keep improving.

But i'm on Getty images right now, and i see what you mean, i will definitely keep that in mind next time i go out.

Thanks for the heads up.
