Default Rugby League- Huddersfield Giants V Castleford Tigers

Hi all, here's a few pics from last nights game at the Galpharm. It seemed every Man/Woman rugby photog was there!.

Even with the noise this is a good series, probably one of your best for exposure and action!!

Good action shots here. WB seems a bit off however...a bit greenish on my monitor.

Good set of shots especially with your lighting conditions. What lenses are you using on your Nikon for your sports photography?

Hi Jehan, yes the colour balance is out i'm afraid!. I didn't bother correcting it as the noise is already an issue due to the night game conditions & messing about with the colour balance would have made things worse i think!.

Hello Tom, thanks for the input, I was using a 70-200 2.8 on one body & a 300 2.8 on the other both wide open at 1600 iso ,(max useable on a D2h) & still only getting 350/400th. ok for most of the Rugby but pants for the Pro Soccer on Tueday nights.
