Default Quarter Horse Racing

Does this odd shot work for you or not? I have mixed feelings. Its obviously full frame.

Not really - the jockey is pressed up against the right edge and overexposed - with very strange flesh tones while the head of the trailing horse is blured due to the pan and you've cut off major portions of both horses. On the plus side you did a decent job of panning with the jockey but the overall framing just doesn't work well. Greg is the resident racing photographer - you might want to look at some of his recent posts to get some ideas.

Ya I know what you mean John. But the part I like, or at least think is funny is that the jockey is pressed up against the right side and that horse, well we know there is a lot more to come, and is coming right behind that jockey who has no where to go. Its all about speed but optically run out of room. Maybe its just my sense of humor.
