Nicely done, Mark-

You had a lot of action to deal with in those photos. Well done.

Just moved this to sports/action for you as it is a better fit there.

Looks like a fun day out.

I love tight shoots but for me these are just a bit too tight and gaining some extra info like the boat wake could add to them. Best action is when cutting back across the wake and getting a bit of air or at least when it is unsettled if not enough wake/speed for air.

Nice pics. They came out nice and crisp too! My first attempt at some boating pics are on the next page. I wish I could have gotten mine to come out as clear as you but it's hard as heck keeping your footing in a moving boat plus being an amature at photography. Nice job. Could I ask your settings for some future help for myslef? Thanks

Thanks,
Here is another one. For user that was asking settings, I was using Aperture Priority, iso 400, that was giving me a shutter speed of around 1/4000. I used AI servo, partial metering, center point focus, AWB, continuous shooting(burst) on my Canon XSI, with the canon 55-250mm IS. This was my first time trying this, and first time I used this lens.
Thanks to everyones help on suggestions on settings, etc you gave me before hand.
