Default Rugby

I've not shot sports for a long time so I got out and shot some Rugby.

Alexandria v a team from Fiji.

Canon 7D, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS with 1.4x TC.

Mark,
All but #2 are strong images. Great exposure, nice tight framing and great expressions. Focus just appears off in #2 though. Good to see some rugby - it's a sport I wish would pick up steam here in the states.

yea, these look really great mark, except as john mentioned it looks like you front focused #2. really like #1, but 3 and 4 are good too.

I know that feeling, it is a great sport. It is actually starting to grow fairly rapidly down here in the Florida Georgia area.

Thanks guys, I will check 2 when I get home as I'm my iPhone now as rushed straight out after the game but wanted to post first. I didn't spot anything re focus but didn't look much, resized etc in a couple of mins and uploaded.

Ok so feel free to beat me around the head, the 2nd is oof, well the ball is nice and sharp but that's it. I looked at quite a few others from the game and seems the micro adjust might need checking, I did calibrate back in Feb but only indoors, poss it is wrong. Not hadany problems without the tc so it is nothing too sinister.
