Default UK Amature Soccer

Hi all, It's been a while since I shot any footy I could post on the forum! but, due to events beyond my control I couldn't shoot the International Rugby League game as planned:frown:. So I went & covered a local soccer game instead:biggrin:.
Kind regards Graham.

Really nice shots. I'll be shooting soccer for the first time this season at the high school level. Really looking forward to it, especially since they have more day games and I won't have as many challenges as night football. For #2, it looks like you positioned yourself on the sideline about even with the penalty box, is that correct?

Thanks for taking the time to comment Simon

Hi Jerry, the first half I sat behind the goalline but 2nd half I set as you said on the sideline as the sun was low & would have been into my face in the 2nd half! Kind regards Graham.

By the way, those ominous looking clouds in the background of #2 give the shot an almost surreal look; a foreboding effect, as if they're predicting that the goalie is about to give up the winning goal. Really nice shot.

Streets, you need to get that prescription on those bifocals checked, because those are clouds.
