Default HS State Championship Game

Our high school champiosnships were held at the Banker's Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Pacers. Even with many of the lights turned off, for some reason, the lighting was incredible. I did notice there were noticeable disparities in exposure in different parts of the gym. Had a tough time getting a WB reading I was happy with because of the yellow in the paint, but the rest of the experience was out of this world. the official IHSAA photographer was hooked up to the house strobes, which wouldve been cool.

Good framing and good action. The WB is indeed off though - too "cool". Fix the WB and it's a great shot.

G'day DRGS

From the outside looking in ... these are excellent action shots
You having been there may / will know the colour differences, but from here, they all look more than okay to me

Great action, perfect focus, fab sharp > what more can I say :-)

Regards, Phil

Here's an example - I don't have software that can change WB of jpeg so I had to do a quick curves adjustment. But here's the diff (pardon image degrade of 2nd image - photo was too large and got hit by forum software):

Thanks Ozzie, i appreciate it! John, i agree theyre on the cold end. My preference is somewhere between yours and mine. A little too much red for my liking, esp the blocking player's face. You turned him into an injun! lol.

my challenge, which i failed to conquer, was the yellow on the floor, which reflected on everyone and the coldness of the lights. the final images were processed using layers. the top 1/2 of the pic was warmed up more than the bottom 1/2...almost 2x the amount.
If you look at the last pic, the black players legs are yellower than his arms and head.

I appreciate the feedback!
