Fantastic shots. Much more 'energetic' than our, US, Football.

Super Sweet images, as usual
Thank for taking the time to share them with us. Unfortunately, the weather has been really awful here in the Southeast U.S. lately (I'm in Savannah, GA), and I've been desperate to find something action related to shoot with a Canon EOS 1D X that we have in for testing So, I may have to compromise and find some bike riders or runners in a local park or something to show AF Tracking, since most of the recent sports events were cancelled due to rain. Grrrrr You should move to the U.S., so we could let you test drive some of the new camera models, as your skill as a photographer is superb. :-) I see you're using a Nikon D3s now. That's a *really* sweet camera for that type of photography. I'm very impressed (not only with the camera, but your skill in getting the best out of it). I've spent some time with a D3 in the past, and you really can't beat it's AF system. But, your skill level at getting the best out of it is amazing. Please continue to share those types of images, as they are an inspiration to the rest of us. |

But you might want to clean your lens... there's some blueish/purplish lettering showing up on all your shots.

Thank you for the very kind if very humbling words
,Kind regards Graham. Hi Jim. You can thank yourselves at SF for me taking sports photography back up again!. If you look back to my first ever post, I borrowed a friend's Nikon D2h & 80-200 lens,(which he took back at half time) , blagging a pitch side pass with him, (he's a staff photographer on a regional paper), for a Rugby game which was commented on for improvements by John G & Mark & the rest is with a bit of work history .ps if your company wishes to pay my air fare & expenses who am I to turn down a testing stint .Hi Sam, just keep shooting you'll get there! practise, practise, practise. I didn't start with pro style gear!, my first camera was a D100 which emptied my savings . Pro game coverage came after a lot of door knocking & getting it slammed in my face. If you keep at it I promise your shots will come on leaps & bounds. Post pics for critique?, you may not like what's said at times but take it all on board. (you'll need thick skin too !).

Looking good Graham..... there isn't much to say as you always do very well..... I'm going to be fussy and say they all seem to be slightly magenta.
Keep it up and looking forward to see some more

LOL, I can't just say all is OK, that would be no fun
![]() Weddings are going great, got one this Saturday and then for the next 2 weeks after, sticking to about 25 a year for now. At the moment I just don't have time for sports but would really like to. I'm only 3 mins from a motocross track so possibly at some point I will get down there again.
