Default Concorde Landing at Boeing Field

Here are some pics I took of the Concorde landing at Seattle's Boeing Field... Truely LOUD plane.. a shame it is now retired..

Surprise! Concorde does a flyby over Boeing Field This caught everybody offguard

After doing a rather fast turn around by Boeing Field, the G-BOAG lines up with the runway and a faint Mt. Rainier

A Dang Beautiful sight.... Pilot of the cranks up the throttle one last time, shuts her down for a nice landing on the numbers at KBFI. I didn't happen to see it at the time, but a train was hiding behind the UPS truck. The Conductor and Engineer were out the window with their cameras.

The Concorde turning back onto the runway for a photo shoot...

And One more before we took off to beat the traffic...

Great Shots!!! I am a big aviation buff and think those are excellent. The Concorde was a truly beautiful aircraft on the ground and in flight.

I know squat about airplanes, but I do love the sound and sight of jets, and that Concorde is a true prince. Your photos and words vividly document what you saw, and I enjoyed every one of them. Like everyone else, I think the one with Mt. Rainier is special. It's worth trying to make it even better, perhaps by cloning out the telephone poles and wires on the bottom left or maybe by just cropping up enough to take them out.

Good job.

Wow, that Concord looks like it just took off from the top of the mountain. Great catch!
