G'day Simon

I thought it was "mad dogs and Englishmen ... in the sun"
Dunno about this lot of maddies

Like the faces, esp the mud-puddle jumper

The "Mud Puddle" jumper is a bit of a legend... and a real character and gentleman.

His name is Kurmang Rashid and is from Kurdistan, though has now settled into the small Welsh mining village of Blaenau Ffestiniog. He runs his own little bakery in the village and is becoming very famous for his tasty Kurdish pasties- and takes his place in most of the areas fell races- including the Snowdon Race..!

If you Google Cornish Pasties you will see the sort of thing he is referring to.
It's all a matter of pronunciation English vs American!

Cheers

Simon - great series. Good angles, good strides on the runners and good mix-up of types of shots. Very nicely done.

I know what a pasty is.

I wasn't aware that 'bakeries' made them.

Here in Phoenix, Arizona, we have the Cornish Pasty Company.
http://www.cornishpastyco.com/

Pretty much the only place they're available here.
