Default Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix

Here are some shots from Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix taken from behind the big ugly wire fences with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 & 75-300 II.

lovely images TG, what, in your honest oppinion being there live did you make of the new V6 engines sound?, I watched it here in the UK & TBH they sounded like turbo'd hair driers . I didn't get the high rev's sound like the old V8's?. Kind regards Graham.

The tires in shot 2 look deformed. Odd.
Nice shots considering the fence.

Thanks Graham, The sound is terrible not what you expect from the pinnacle of motorsport. The V8's sounded great and the V10's high pitch ear piercing sound was even better. Its a sad day when the old Minardi two seater is the loudest car on the track.

Years ago I was down for a media track run in the "Arrows
/Orange" twin seater but 3 weeks prior to my run date @ Silverston it crashed & they then pulled the plug on the sponsered product! I was gutted. Glad to see someones carrying it on though!. Look forward to more Motor sport pics mate. Kind regards Graham.
