Mr. Saginaw, you're shooting w/ the Sigma 70-200, right? You thinking of getting a TC? I took a couple of softball shots tonight as well. The sun was facing me, kind of ruined the shots. DigiReb and a Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS. Need to learn how to deal with a high sky better.

Vito,

To answer your question, you can buy the i9100 (which I also have like John) directly from Canon for $399; they just dropped the price $100 in preparation for the release of the i9900.

The i9900 is the true wide-carriage equivalent to the i960. It will have the 2-picoliter droplet size, 4800x2400 resolution, PictBridge/ Canon Direct print capabilities, and will include a total of 8 inks (black, cyan, light cyan, magenta, light magenta, yellow, RED and GREEN). The i9100 is a 4800x1200, 4-picoliter printer and uses the same inks as the i9900 but just not the red or green.

Canon's 11x17 paper is their Glossy Photo Paper (the cheaper stuff). I wish they would make the Photo Paper Plus Glossy (which is better than the Glossy Photo Paper but a step below the Photo Paper Pro) in the larger sizes.
