Default Womens Softball???

Yes, it was a beautiful day here! I actually got to take my DRebel outside! So I headed over to the local college to catch some womens softball. Wow.. I got to use some thing other than ISO 1600! I didn't have to shoot wide open at 2.8! I got to use a shutter speed that actually froze the action! I took a bunch of pictures but most were blah... But I did want to share two of what I thought were the better ones...

This is the first time i've tried any outdoor sport... I can see that the ol' 70-200 just isn't going to be long enough...

Thanks guys!

These pics are cropped a fair amount... the first picture works out to be a about 2.1 megapixel and the 2nd one is 3.3 megapixel... which is fine for here and small prints... But i've got that Canon I9100 that just loves to print 13 X 19s! And that why in need a longer lens!

No! :P

just kidding ya... next time you're in saginaw and you need a print stop by and "borrow" it!

I'm not much of a bargin shopper... I just order the paper direct from Canon... Photo Paper Pro... runs about $2.50 a sheet... I'm sure there are cheaper places, etc... but hey... i love the results and i'm lazy...

The paper is A3+ size, which is 13 X 19... Comes in a pack of 10 sheets...

Nice shots John, Sunlight makes all the difference.. I get my canon paper from Best Buy At about $1.75 a sheet.. Don't you just love the results with the i9000 and with the combination of Photo
Paper Pro I have yet to find any better.. But I wonder why the 11x17 paper is not as good a quality as the 13x19 or the 8.5x11 is...
