Just sharing some pics i took from the field at the WVU vs. JMU game sat.

I lucked into a field pass and got to go down where the big dawgs where.

I was pretty nervous , there were alot of people down there, but everyone was

really nice. Anyway i took these with my nikonD70 and sigma 70-200 f2.8 hsm.

Still learning the settings and lens, only had it a month.

Check them out if you want ........

Should have shot more of them with lens wide open. That's why you have the f2.8 lens? Any reason for not doing that? I am deciding between canon 70-200 f4 & sigma 70-200 f2.8.

lol, caught your eye , thats funny !

Well seeings that im just learning about this F2.8 lens , I was just trying different settings. To tell the truth i really half know how to set this thing lol, ive only had it a month. I mostly used the A mode i think i wasnt sure which focus mode to set it on, so i just tried different ones , ive never had any training on this thing, or classes. when you say (Should have shot more of them with lens wide open) what settings would you use? There really wasnt a reason for not doing it , im just learning it and have no clue sometimes what to set it on,lol.

IF you have any tips feel free to share please.

I only stayed down there half the game, my husband and son was at the game and i wanted to go enjoy the rest of the game with them, since it was my sons first college game at WVU. Plus it was looking a bit cloudy, i wish the action at the end of the game would have been in the begining lol, it was on my side alot more. lol

Most of the shots where good for my first time i thought. Since its not my day job, lol.

just a rookie remember , lol
