Got a chance to be down on the field yesterday to shoot. Took a ton of photos that I haven't had a chance to go through yet. Here's one of Ben Roethlisberger. I'll post a few more...

Nice shot!
Shame about the ass taking up most of the frame! :-)

Cool shots, congrats on the field pass, how'd you get that? I like the one with the Brown and the Ref, "Are You SURE you want to call that penalty?"

I got hooked up with the Browns team photographer, John Reid. They update their website during the game and needed someone to run CF cards from the field to the press box. Had to do that 3 times during the game. Ended up missing about 6 or 7 minutes of actual game time. The rest of the time I was free to shoot. Here's alink to all of them... http://www.altenburgerportraits.com

The 1st and 3rd are outstanding. Are these sections cropped from an original or are these pictures "as shot"? If they are originals what lens were you using? - It must be huge to get so close!

3 and 5 shot with a 10D and 135L f/2. The others were with a 20D and Sigma 120-300 f/2.8. Slight cropping on 1. The others were shot as is.

Wow, it's fantastic to be able to get shots like those straight out of the camera!
