What camera, lens and opening to get the brightness. It just might be the gym im shooting in. But I just cant get the brightness or white balance with no flash.

Nikon D70, Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 at 2.8 and 70mm. WB auto. No flash. Taken from 10th row of bleachers. I like to shoot from above, not below. Very slight processing, most done in camera then cropped.

makes me wanna have a sigma 70-200 f/2.8, too!
Hopefully I'm gonna have one in spring/early summer. I've seen so many pictures taken with that lense and they all were fabolous!

Do you have some more photos taken with that lense?

Really nice shot. I particularly like #4's facial reaction to the slam.

I would run the image through NeatImage or NoiseNinja (since there is still noticeable noise, especially in the black and white solids) and I if you're really tinkering, i think the color balance is just a little blue, esp. in shadows. But, for shooting in a gym w/no flash... it is a great shot!
