Mr. Saginaw,

Great shots! I would hardly know you weren't really into tennis.

Goes to show you great photographers adapt!

Is that focal length 70-200 with or without the 1.6 multiplication factor?

Thanks! The 70-200 is without the 1.6 factor...

There is a Custom Function you need to switch on to enable ISO3200...

For Neat Image I just do the very basic stuff. Nothing to fancy. I click a lot of the "automatic" buttons... LOL

The best advice I can give for low light sports... Fast lens... you have to be willing to spend some $$$ to get descent lens...

Thanks - I will check out the Custom Function, and I will (probably) continue to experiment with Neat Image. As for the lens, I have probably done all that I can - for now. I have been pleased with the results from the Canon 85/1.8 - that is when I am sitting in a location where 85mm is the appropriate focal length. When that's the case, I think this lens is wonderful, and for ~$400, it didnt break the bank. I also added the Tamron 28-75/2.8 - again, ~$400. So, for ~$800 I have a good walk around lens and a really good fast lens (although it's a fixed focal lenght). Maybe I should opted only for the Sigma 70-200/2.8 for ~$800 (and it is next on my list), but it will have to wait - probably until next Christmas:-)

I just got my Tamron 28-75 2.8 last week too! I absolutely love it. I used it to take pictures of a basketball game as was very impressed. It is so much better than Sigma's 24-70 2.8. Everything is extremely sharp. My favorite lens so far.

I'm going to get the Tamron based on Mr. Saginaw's recomendation and another guy Peter (Canadian) who was kind enough to send me some awesome photos taken with his Tamron.

After I get the lens I will post some samples, that will be hopefully good enough not to embarass myself! lol.
