Heyho,

I've been to a karate training day to take some pictures with my new nikkor 50mm/f1.8.

However, I was surprised about the good light in the small gym. I was able to have shutter speeds of about 1/1000 or even faster at ISO 1600 and f1.8 or 2.0

All pics were converted from RAW to jpeg.

Tell me what you think.

This picture was taken with Sigma 70-300 /f4.0-5.6 APO Macro Super II @ 70mm.

thanks!
Go get one, it's a really great lens for low light and portrait. I'd say it's my favourite lens for now.
And the price is about $100.

Great shots. Definitely need to get a lens like that so I can take pics of my taekwondo classes.
