Canon Digital Rebel with Sigma 170-500 Zoom @170mm with Monopod

ISO1600* 1/4000 f/9.0 Tv Mode Photoshop Elements 2.0

*The ISO was set at 1600 because during most of the game we had heavy clouds. I had just rained and the sun broke through for about 10 minutes. I did not bother to change the ISO for that short period of time.

I still have a 56K dial-up modem here and it makes for slow rendering of pictures.

The funny part was as this filled in from the top it looked like the ump had two heads! But just for a minute. (The kids have been telling me this for years!) Now of course i see he's just "IN-THE-WAY! What's wrong with these umps??? We're working here!

Which brings me to my other pive... The kid is stealing second base and there is no throw from the catcher. The coach yells "YOU'RE UP! YOU'RE UP!" What is the matter with that person. I'm taking pictures here! SLIDE! SLIDE! And don't forget to smile this way!

OK... Just having fun. This is a very good picture (except the ump) because it show perfect execution of the run down play. Nice capture.
