The D2H is very fast, but I have found to stop the action the "Auto" setting is a little off even in bright sunshine.. so I allways shoot in Manual.. and go for 1/1000 -1/1600 and adjust the apeture accordingly.. I have found at least on the Nikons I can allways shoot ISO 200 in any condition and can adjust other settings to accomidate, for low light... At this rodeo another Photographer was shooting the D-70 and was having problems with blur.. he could here my shutter going off at a much faster rate, He could not only see the difference but could here it as well..every Pro Camera has its purpose and the D2H's is action..Good luck Dale
