Just thought I'd post this to keep the forum moving along...

Canon 20D, ISO3200, 1/250th, Tamron 18-35 at 34mm, F4.0

Shot RAW, used RAWSHOOTER to apply slight increase in exposure comp, highlight and detail contrast, and a little noise suppresion.

Cut to a 200kb JPEG for this forum.

There are the facial expression that I was talking about.

Much better shot in this one.

It does still look like the lighting was reaking havok on the camera though.

I'm with Ron. Not allowed to use flash here?

Yah, its very, very low light in that place.

I sometimes use a little flash, but if I'm shooting ISO3200 it can sometimes "burn" the highlights out a little.

So lately I've been shooting available light.

Sometimes I like to use a little fill flash, but not lately.

your timing on these shots are PERFECT..

but, at ISO 3200.. i think the grain would look better in black and white personally.. with the color a bit washed out from the noise and the increase in exposure, i think the a mono presentation would be more pleasing?

Was there much cropping? If appropriate I'd like to see the whole shot along wth the crop.

Here's the original uncropped photo (reduced file size to meet posting requirements):
