Thanks for all the comments, as always I like to see them. New ideas spawn here a lot. As for the backgrounds in both shots I take shots from either the left or right side of the foul lane so some crookedness (I guess that is a word) is going to happen. Also in the fast action of basketball I tend to twist to follow the action and most times am concentrating on the action and nothing else. So at times there is a good chance the camera may be held a little crooked. By the way cropping is almost complete from the sides very little if any top and bottom cropping.

Something I would like to say. To Africa, John G, Terry and everyone else, when I post a photo I fully expect and want comments about the shot. You can tell me that the shot is poor and why and it will not hurt my feelings or say it is a good shot but........ I look at every comment or idea made and then look at my own work to see if the new idea works for me. Keep it up and thanks.
