#4 I like this one too. I cropped, color corrected and slightly sharpened. Not too sure the cropped work that well

Looks like you got this one on the fly. A good shot.

It is bit soft and the horizon is way off. Corrected those things, then cropped, lighten/contrast, burned & blurred the background.

Thank you Africa.

I just got Photoshop CS2 and I dont even know where to begin. I need to look into some classes. There is a community college here I just need to see what they offer.

#6 I love the perspective on the shot but didnt quite know how to fix it otherwise. If I sent you the ful size image could you fix it like you did in the post?

3 and 8 do alot for me ...thats my son :?

Yes I could do that but I don't know how we can make contact. I'm one of those people that is paranoid about letting the world know my email address. If you have any s****estions let me know.

Checking your local Comm Col or Con Ed at a University is a good idea. You might also try a book, go to Barnes & Noble and look. You can check for the most popular sellers with on-line stores. Warning - don't buy a specialized book like PS for Portrait Photogs or an advanced techniques book, you want a basic book that has easy to follow instructions.

Meanwhile lets try a litle something on line. I teach a basic PS class at the Unv Texas-El Paso so to you and anyone who wants to go thru the manipulation of this photo we should go to Steve's "Software Forum", and the first listing "Editors".

I like pic #6 because it has the most often used manipulations you will use and one unusual one. It should be fun and to anyone shooting indoor sports you're invited to come along for the ride.

I'll post on Sunday - See you there.
