Whilst sidelined yet again with another injury (so frustrating!) I popped down to the club to take some photos of the 4th XV. These guys are either the old boys who don't want to retire yet or the young lads pushing through.

The no. 13 making the tackle was playing his first ever game of rugby - he loved it.

Nice shots! Really caught some good action here. I'm glad 13 loves the game, I think it is an under appreciated sport. Great job, keep posting.

I'm beginning to wonder if this sport is just an excuse for some old men to get together and give each other wedgies!

Spoken like someone who has clearly never played the sport.

Nice pics brought back some good memories of the game

True, I never played it, but I used to listen to the sport covered on radio when I lived in Melbourne, Australia,

As I recall they played both union and rugby league rules.

We also had Aussie Rules football which was another well followed sport.

Down in Australia I played field hockey - such a wuss was I.

Don't belittle yourself Terry - the worst injury I've ever had was field hockey! That can be a tough sport too!

Thanks for your comments everyone.
