First outing at a night time game. Livingston versus hearts in the under 19's scottish cup semi-final which hearts (team in marron/red) won 3-2.

Must admit that the lens struggled a wee bit. It got a bit softer in the lower light and, coupled with the high iso - the images were quite soft and still quite dark. Oh what I would have given for a 2.8 last night. Anyway, all 800 and 1600 ISO, no photoshopping, only some cropping.

First livi goal...

Took this because the lines came together quite well and also to make note of the female assistant referee who had a shockingly bad game.

Argy bargy. The guy in maroon making this challenge was sent off for trying to punch the guy about a half hour later. The dude in yellow also was lucky to stay on the park.

Second livi goal. Guy had another chance about 20 seconds from the end which he fluffed which would have sent the game to extra time.

Wonderful shots. What equipment were you using? I love to watch U-19s; complete abandon and furious action.

D50 + Sigma 70-300mm 4-5.6 APO Macro SUPER II. Lens struggled a bit with the light and was not exactly awsome at 1600. 800 Was useable as most of those shots show.Idid experiment shooting higherquality images and thendoing some heavy PPin photoshop.
