And, my favorite. Sorry couldn't go any wider but I love the fact he's spitting grass out...

More great stuff! Where are you positioned in the ball park? Behind the fence or in front of it as I don't see any blurring as if you are shooting through the fence.

I tried focusing through the fence they came out ok, but not as colorful as yours. Also do you have the color saturation increased?

Thanks Aaron. I shoot from inside the fence. You can shoot through the fence for shots of the pitcher say. But, I've never had much success shooting at an angle through the fence. I shoot from either first or third base line - usually alternating between the two. First base is better for shots of the infielders but for the runners, third is better.

As for the saturation, I just have my normal +1 in the camera. But, this lens really seemed to highlight the reds (can't remember noticing a red bias using other lenses but it may be there). That's one benefit to grey skies - the background may be ugly but you get an even light, which helps.

Thank you everyone!

It's funny how people gravitate towards a specific genre. I just love to shoot sports. And it's a relief to be shooting outdoors during daylight
