Would have been a great capture if it was not focused behind the players, timing was spot on though.

Awesome shot, Barbarian.

Do you ever blow a little flash into these shots?

I can't believe how much your photos have improved over the last 6 months to a year.

Makes me wonder if I'm getting stale, as my shots have only slightly improved (in my opinion) in the last year.

I seem to be getting more "keepers" than throw aways, but not a huge general improvement.

Soccer usually requres a long reach, which usually means beyond the reach of a flash. I guess on manual it wouldn't hurt to try. I'll give it a shot next time.

I think the obvious reason I've improved so much is that I wasn't very good when I started. And yes, the critiques and comments have helped me a lot.
