After their loss last season to the Steelers 42-0, they need all the training camps they can get.:blah:

Just joking of course. Nice pictures, excellent stopping of action.

Ouch! I harbor no illusions about this year. Once again the Browns have lost an impact player before the start of the season (all pro center LeCharles Bentley who they signed in the off season). I predict an 8-8 season.

I went to the Raiders camp in Napa a week ago. They're very tight on security, I had to shoot on top of my car over the fence, and between covers of the fence. I only managed a few shots before a security guard came up to me and told me to stop shooting and go away.

I'm going to the Niners Camp this week. I should get better shots there. The Niners and Raiders share the worst records the past three years, each winning just 13. But I'm still looking forward to football!

Rey,

Ya know I really hate organizations like that. At this point in time in training camps it's about conditioning and basic drills - they're not running anywhere near their full playbook yet. That's a real shame. For the Browns practices, they were:

a. Free (always have been even when they were good back in the 80s & 90s)

b. Allow whatever camera / photographic equipment you want so long as it doesn't interfear with other fans and you understand you can't sell or use the images for any commercial purpose.

Even the Cleveland Indians didn't balk when I brought in a 20d and 100-400L earlier this year. Not sure if anyone would have said anythin if I'd brought the 120-300 but as long as it didn't interfere with other fans - probably nothing.

Hopefully you'll get closer at the Niners camp!!!
