I've never been a fan of this series of Canon camera's- most struggling for decent battery life,all lagging in performance and many suffering with average(at best) lens performance.
AA battery powered camera's- especially those that use only two- are always going to be compromised- is this disadvantage offset by availability...?

You could argue that it's a "baby bridge" on a budget- and the manual exposure options certainly win back a few points- but it has to...
For a "point and shooter" user, you could argue it's decent value- but I'd argue there are better options if all you are looking to do is "point and shoot"...
