I still struggle with these type of cam's... that being the large sensor but simplified layout genre...

With no viewfinder and no PASM dial... to me it's a "point and shoot"- and as such, would anyone be carrying around other lenses- thus negating the benefit of that option... and if you did- negating the benefits of a "compact" system...!!
I'd rather have an RX100 in my pocket if I wanted a bijou P+S with good quality...

The NEX-6 or 7 however, is another story....

Default The NEX-3N works great with old SLR lenses

I purchased a new NEX-3N body for $180 on ebay and use it with all of my Pentax lenses using PK-NEX adapters and the Lens Turbo focal reducer that makes my 50mm F1.4 work more like a 36mm F1.0. I also use the Sony 16-50mm PZ OSS and 55-210mm OSS lenses that I already had for my full frame Sony NEX-VG900 Handycam that I used in APS-C mode. I use the new Eye-Fi Mobi 8 GB SDHC Class 10 Wireless Memory Card so it has Wi-Fi.
