I have a couple of Studio Flashes (150w) and have just bought a second hand SB-600 for my D70s. I trigger the Studio Flashes with an wireless IR Trigger, will it be possible to use the Sb600 off camera as a third "studio Flash" and trigger it with the IR Trigger?

Hi jlund,

That is something you will have to try for yourself. I'm pretty sure you can do it but just remember that TTL will not happen. You will need to set your SB-600 to manual as well as your camera. Then meter all of the lights individually according to the ratio you need for the photograph. You can move the SB-600 closer or further from the subject to change the power or use the + - settings on the flash.

Let us all know how you make out.
