Hi There,

Is there anyone that has had blonde subjects have a black area (black cap) on their hair where the shiney area would be? It does not happen all the time. It happens with a studio setup and the only way to get rid of it is a really strong hair light, which I do not like. Has anyone else experience this and/or have any better fixes???????????
This is driveing me mad...............................

It would help to see an example of what you are talking about; apicture being worth all those words. I suspect you are having a problem with getting enough light on the top of your subjects' heads. You may need to use bounce flash or other light reflecting off the ceiling or reflector.
