Does anyone here do still life photography? I thought it would be fun to try as you can use your own creativity to set up situations & items to shoot & change them around instead of being limited to something that can't be moved or changed such as a landscape or something in nature. I looked online but couldn't find any current books on it & just wondered if it has lost popularity. Is there any special equipment or lenses that one would use for still life?

It is very similar to portraiture, except the models are much easier to deal with.:-)
Lighting and lenses suitable for portraits work very well. Your own creativity is the only real limit. Have fun. brian |
