i have a toshiba pdr 3300

i have a 32 mb card and 256mb card

the latter was working but shows card error now

what can i do about it?

i tried formatting it from comp but to no use
please help

Don't use a PC, since a PC is going to format it using a 32 bit FAT by default, which is not compatible with most cameras.

Use the Format choice in the camera's menus instead.

If that doesn't work, try formatting it with a different camera. If you have a card reader, you could try using a PC. But, make sure to select FAT as the file system type from the drop down list. Then, I'd reformat it using the camera's menus again if that works.

If a card reader won't see it. I'd just get a new card (unless it's still under warranty where the manufacturer may consider replacing it).

Don't be surprised if you find that the card works fine in another camera. Toshiba cameras were notorious lemons which is why Toshiba was forced to exit the digicam business.
