Default Whirlybird

Last summer I had just purchased a Sony a350 to use my old Minolta 500mm AF Reflex lens which had been languishing in the closet since I switched to Pentax, and went down to the local Ecological Reserve to try out the combo on birds (the kind with feathers) when this guy came whipping by, not looking where he was going. He had no business being in that airspace, nor flying that low. I took a few quick snaps hand held, and in the last frame he had finally looked up from his map and noticed that he had been caught in the act - I don't know what he might have been thinking, but he still wasn't looking where he was going!. The camera was still set on factory defaults, as this was the first shoot with it, and I didn't know what I might have to adjust.
