Love the old British bikes. It looks like there is a Triumph (green and white tank) in the background as well. Regards

Excellent picture...shows the flash and chromium of the big Beezer very well.

I almost bought a BSA 650cc Spitfire...a souped up version of the Lightning. Very fast, torquey motor, good handling...beautiful bike.

I didn't but eventually got another old Brit bike...a '67 Matchless 750cc G15CS Scrambler or Desert Sled as they were known.

I had a lightning till I wrapped it around a telephone pole. My parents made me ride a Vespa for a while after that one. LOL

LOL...I'm sure your parents felt more comfortable seeing you on the Vespa...big speed and acceleration difference between the Vespa and the BSA..

They finally relented and I got a 305 super hawk. Then promptly wrapped it around a telephone pole! Mom put me back on a Vespa. That pole is probably still in Linden Alabama.
