Default Royal Enfield

These were some of the more interesting bikes in the whole show. Not much in technologies, but very nostalgic.

Those old 'new' Royal Enfields are nice, made in India of course and modified a bit from the old Enfield Bullet 500 single. I had an aquaitaince that had a late '60's Royal Enfield Interceptor 750 cc twin in the late '60's.
The 750cc twins in Interceptor form had lot's of torque and hp for the day and the design was stunning. Small all chrome gas tank, emgine just seemed to barely fit into the frame...beautiful bike.

But as many British bikes back then , they leaked oil..in fact Royal Enfields back in the '50's and '60's were called Royal Oilfields ...by the less reverent amongst motorcyclists....lol
