Default Gone surfin'

It was in the mid-to-upper 70s over the last week, with 4-to-6 foot swells. So, lot's of action down at the beach. Surfers use all kinds of vehicles to transport their surfboards to and from...but this is the most popular.

BTW, I'm headed to Chicago tomorrow, so I'll definitely be missing this weather.

I can hear the Beach Boys singing right now, nice one Walter! Get ready for a big change from the 70s, Chicago is expecting some snow Sat and Sunday.

Most shots don't provide good backgrounds, which is why I mask most of my car photos. In the case of old cars they are typically sandwiched between late models -- which is why my 16-35 lens is used often.

I do have some (1000+) shots at www.pbase.com/gwcoles, some of which include the backgrounds.

But, rarely does the setting add to the interesting features of the cars I'm shooting.
