Default I look down on Mercedes

Literally. ;-)

I was on a balcony in downtown Huntington Beach when I saw this MBZ convertible. Masked it out and placed it on a checkerboard background.

Default The Audi R8 is go!

Hey Jim

I just re-read your post and realised how good your masking is. I thought the MB was parked on a tiled floor!

As for the R8, after the McLaren F1 it is my favourite dream car. Although the V10 is the headline act, the better balance of the lighter V8 with the V8 Supercar/NASCAR bellow is the one to get IMO. I'd have Audi Berserkwerks make it go a lot faster, say mid 3's 0-100. It doesn't suffer the driveline problems of the Nissan GTR, so should be able to launch hard no probs.

But in the real world (well if I really had the dosh), I'd probably prefer the RS6 wagon, for its ridiculous stonk, practicality and Q-Car image. Chuck a chip and exhaust in and watch the Ferraris and Porches fade in the mirror (well in the real world with corners and wet roads that is)

Have you heard they're releasing a RWD track version...

Here's some of my favourite google images, (credit to unknown original uploaders)

Default Official Audi R8 Brochure

Also, I've found a pdf of the Official Audi R8 Brochure, if you're interested.
