Default Planes and Automobiles

I thought that this was an interesting composition of the automobiles heading in one direction and the aircraft landing in the opposite direction.

I like the concept and context but would lose the top 200 pixels which really brings the elements together nicely!

Good capture.

Thanks Mark...I see what you mean about the extra height. I have replaced the image with a new one and I think it makes the composition better.

I like this shot. It plays off of each other the plane and cars. Did not see the other composition.

Thanks Shoturtle. The replaced picture had extra sky above the aircraft. Mark suggested I trim it down. This image places the aircraft at about the 1/3rd parallel. I did not compose this shot deliberately...just was one that was part of the set as I was following the 747 down.

Perfectly depicts me...don't know whether I am coming or going half the time! Nice shot!

Thanks Maxsamsung, Maggo85 & LTZ470. If I was in one of those vehicles, this is the kind of event that would have made me run off the road because I'd have been so excited to see a B747 coming into land. The road actually continues on and curves so that it is actually under the flight path and aircraft are only about 500 ft from the ground.
