Iam using a Nikon D-90 with Nikons 300mm. I have to get use to the exp. comp. shooting against the sky, as one is constantly shooting into and away from the sun. I shoot alot of Mitchell's as my dad was a navigator on one, so naturally Iam drawn to them. I just picked up a 500mm and will be giving that a whirl in a couple of weeks.

I know the feeling. The airshow centerline here is along a SSW-NNE runway and we're mostly facing west so most aircraft are somewhat back lit.

I have a couple of Corsair shots in my collection but nothing as nice as yours. Good work!

While I've seen a P-38 in flight I haven't had the opportunity to photograph one although I do have a couple of static shots.

There is Bf(Me)109 that sometimes shows up on the airshow circuit but I've not had a chance to photograph it. Any photos of it?

Very nice old warplanes. I like the B25 shot. My favorite WWII plane the vought Corsair. Nicely captured.
