if you were going to use the vignette and go for a vintage look, i would just go all the way and convert it to mono with a slight sepia tone.

I have added sepia tones to other pics as I do alot of airshows, and tend to play around abit to make things interesting.

Some nice old warbirds, which show were these taken at?

Would love to see them with a bit slower shutter speed just for more prop movement (don't jets just make our lives easier lol).

Looking forward to seeing more!!!

I believe the shots are from the Reading PA. show. The vignette as Hards80 mention is to the point of being overdone. But it transends well, and makes T-Shirts and Sweats pop out. It pays for my toys.

I have to agree, that B-25 (the one you talk about Dustin) is sweet!!! Also I like the editing on this one goes well with the subject.

What kit do you shoot with?

Thanks for sharing. I always appreciate photos of WWII combat aircraft, especially the Spitfire as those rarely show up at the local airshow. You can post a lot more of any vintage aircraft as far as I'm concerned.

My only C&C would be to suggest some sharpening after resizing. A little sharpening and we could easily read "Gentleman Jim" in #2 without showing artifacts. It's a little finer balance "Glamorous Gal" but I think it could still be sharpened some without artifacts. That pretty much goes for the rest although I concede that there's a degree of taste involved.
