Default ABX Freighter

Photographed this Boeing 767-200 Heavy freighter a couple of weekends ago. From the sealed-up windows, you can tell this aircraft was once a passenger version. Actually it served 23 years with Delta before Air Borne Express purchased and converted it to a freighter in November 2006. That makes this aircraft 27 years old!!! It was hard to avoid the blown highlights on this mostly white paint scheme (required some editing in PS).

I was pleased that this image was also accepted at airliners. net (my 3rd to date). The link to the image is http://www.airliners.net/photo/1699648/L/

Nikon D300s + Nikon 70-200 f/2.8. I need that 80-400mm now

Jehan,

congratulations on your 3rd acceptance to airliners.net.

a deserving acceptance, i think this is a really nice image. nice contrast against the green, and including the tower in background gives it a nice context of the airport.

congrats again buddy

Dustin, Markus, and Shoturtle: Thanks for your comments. It seems I am having a good streak of luck with the screeners at airliners.net. I think I am finally begining to understand their criteria and am fine tuning my techniques. They must use ulta high resolution monitors for their inspections. They reject images for graininess, that I cannot see any on my 23" monitor

I had a good day at the airport earlier today. I am in the midst of doing some post processing to the images and will post a few soon.
