That's Far Rockaway in the background, isn't it?

I used to take the A Train to Rockaway Beach. My local beach was nice, but it was on Jamaica Bay, and NO WAY was I going to swim in that cesspool!

Man ST...I really miss seeing the heavies! Between the 777's anbd the 747's, it is a feast for my eyes. Good images in spite of shooting through the terminal glass! I really like the one of the 747 Evergreen climbing!

Concordes used to fly in and out of JFK. They were a sight to see.

I think that all airplanes are beautiful, but the Concorde was something special, much like the B-1B.

Jelpee,

I miss the A380 by 15 minutes today. If I arrived a bit earlier I would have had a chance to get a shot of it.

nice! that blast is very powerful. there is such a variety of planes there at JFK, we don't see any of those here in the midwest.
