Default Barn Find (HDR inside)

My buddy got the opportunity to clean up this beauty and get it in running order. 1973 Challenger that is in Very good shape for sitting in a barn since 1991. He asked me to take a few snap shots quick for a before and after (after shots to come later).

I love this color, and already said I want to buy it LOL. Needless to say, it's not for sale. I guess someone's father passed away, and all the kids got to choose one car each. This was the daughter's choice, although from what I heard her husband is the one that "thinks" it's going to be his.

I guess there were a bunch of old cars and trucks in this barn, including some Cudas, a Super Bee, etc.

Camera used was the Samsung NX10 with the kit lens. Three shot HDR, manual mode (f/13), ISO 200. Critiques welcome.

Very nicely done!

I'm looking forward to the "after" shot.

Thanks everyone, your comments are much appreciated.

I'm going to swing by today if possible to see if he's got her running and cleaned up. The weather is nice here, so I might be able to get the after shots with the car in a similar position. We shall see how the day unfolds. I hope you all have a great holiday weekend!

Clean it up? All I see is pure beauty. I can easily look through the grime and see its shiny brightly. In fact I can even hear the roar of that engine. Lucky SOB. In your next shots pop the hood in one of them.

What I always like most about the Challenger was the deep throated rumble of the engine at idle.

Amazing the tires are not dry rotted. Great car, looking forward to those "after" shots.

Will get the after shots asap. I got to hear him fire it up two nights ago. It sounds quite nice, even with the ate up exhaust system. I'm hoping he has it all cleaned up sometime in the next week or two.

In the mean time, here are a few more from that same day. As you can see, she needs some TLC. The interior looks worse than it actually is. A mouse/rat tore up the padding from under the carpet, however the seats and other interior were left untouched; thank God!

And here's the middle exposure:
