Default tall ships

I must go down to the sea again,
to the lonely sea and the sky...
and all I ask is a tall ship,
and a star to steer her by...
- John Masefield

the weather was pretty crappy, so there wasn't much contrast or color, but i was at least able to catch a couple of half-decent shots of Lady Washington and her companion ship, Hawaiian Chieftain, out in Possession Sound yesterday afternoon... 40D, 100-400 @ 400mm, 1/1000 @ f/8...

squirl033,

Beautiful lines and ships; got me into my Joseph Conrad-reading mode. Thanks

Missed them when they were in Port Angeles/Squim last month. Nice pictures, I love the tall masts and sail!
