Default DFW airport under construction--July,1972

This is a copy of a Kodachrome slide that I made with my Sony A200, Minolta 50mm f1.7, and a short extension tube. I'm also including a shot of the American Airlines Flight Acadamy. Both photos were taken taken from Cessna Citation N502CC which was the original trainer for new customers. Ground school, simulator training, and check rides, were provided by A.A.. The hanger at the old GSW airport where N502CC was kept can be seen under the leading edge of the starboard wing.

Wow, nearly 40 years old and still one of the most modern airports. Used to live 15 minutes south of DFW (Grand Prairie) and flew out of there scores of times.
