Default Lyon Air Museum III - Military Aircraft I

Three WWII strategic and tactical bombers - Unobstructed outdoor images with better lighting can be seen on their website. This is what visitors get:

As an Air Force brat, I got to see all these airplanes "in service", before they were all sentenced to life in museums. At Sheppard AFB in 1957, there were a lot of these "mothballed" there, and of cours we found a way in, and played on and in all the old aircraft, including the B29 and B36. Those were the good old days. Thanks for the pics and memory jog..

Thanks Robert and Walter for looking and commenting.

Walter, I didn't pay enough attention to the motorcycles to get any worthwhile images - too much else on my plate in the time available - maybe you can do better. There is a Japanese-built Harley knock-off (license built before the war) and a US Army Indian Chief in particular that might be of interest.
